To our friends, listeners, peers, and mentors,

In 2020 our creative hub released ‘Refuge’, a collaborative musical response to shifts in culture, industry, and global day-to-day life experienced across lockdown. Nothing short of seeds for catalyzing inner metamorphosis. Following our first mixtape, 2021 has gifted us a whole new page to chart the growth.

‘Voyage’ is a collection of inner voices, footnotes and sketches taken along the way, forming a stature and birds eye view to hold in this still ever shifting landscape we are here navigating together.

Contributions include the return of Vol.01’s Naima Adams, Marysia Osu, Amarnah Ufuoma Cleopatra, Sylvia Suli, And Is Phi, and Lorenz Okello. Excitedly Vol.02 welcomes Isobella Burnham, Deeby, Roella Oloro, and resident visual artist Wumzum on a poetic debut. The project has been mastered by our in-house engineers and producers Fi Roberts, Lorenz Okello, and Tilé Gichigi-Lipere.

You are invited to enjoy this body of work. We have sought to cultivate a project that centers artist development in a manner that is nurturing of experimentation. These are exceptional up and coming artists testing the waters for new ideas, as well as established dancers and visual artists expanding their artistry through a translation into musicality.

Whatever it inspires in your listening feel free to share those insights with us.
